Fig cuttings

I want to do some pruning with my figs, although some of them still have green tips. When I cut these branches do I keep this green part on when I put them in medium, or is it better to cut these off at the top?

If you’re rooting right away. By all means leave the tips. If you plan to store. Those unlignified tips may mold or shrivel on you.
