Fig cobbler

Ok so one of my favorite dessert dishes is a good warm cobbler over some vanilla ice cream or cinnamon ice cream when you can find it lol. Anyone got some experience with a fig cobbler? Even better if you can share some photos or some recipes. I assume it’s the same as any other cobbler base recipe but I want your experience with the taste, texture, whether it’s better or worse than other fruits. I will be doing one as soon as some start to ripen! Thanks 😋

Now you got me thinking. A honey fig cinnamon cobbler.
Might have to try to make it. If enough ripe figs make it into the house this season. :)

A layer of super ripe figs in a cobbler sounds like the perfect combo with some good home style ice cream. Maybe even make some homemade cinnamon ice cream for the special occasion lol

If you had a super Jammy fig, Uncle Corky's Honey Delight jumps to mind, its sooo Jammy. Its like a natural jam preserve. You would hardly need to cook it. Just a Touch of sugar, and something to preserve it.
