Euclid fig

Greetings, Fig Fanatics...
Yesterday at Southeastern Fig Frolic I obtained a rooted cutting of a Euclid fig. The label on it suggests that it is similar or identical to Green Ischia. Does anyone have experience with this variety? Is it vigorous and/or productive? In several online videos it seems to be highly regarded with some naming it as their favorite fig.

Just picked my first Euclid UNK off a first year tree.
I'm not calling it something else yet. Anyone else have an Adriatic type growing and fruiting unprotected in Western North Carolina?
I've got about 80 different Adriatic types to compare it to in the coming years. IMG_20250914_185548_MP.jpgIMG_20250914_185440_MP.jpgIMG_20250914_185440_MP.jpgIMG_20250914_185440_MP.jpg

I have Battaglia Green inground here west of Asheville & it struggles. I'll give it a few more years but inground is difficult for most types here. My Adriatic (jh) & WM1 inground in my high tunnel greenhouse still struggle! I'm gonna drive down Euclid tomorrow I already spotted the tree on ol' googlie..

DID YOU SAY 80 ADRIATIC TYPES?!? are you knuts lol

Can't wait to see what it does here next season.

I have Strawberry Verte and JH Adriatic but no ripe figs yet or not at all this year. I just picked a ripe Euclid Unk from a inground tree this am and looks similar to your pics.
Funny story. I never ate the fig and had left it on my patio table (surprised critters didn’t steal it). So here are some pics.
