Enderud

Went and took a couple of photos real quick of FPTC.
Enderud will lighten up instead of darken but the idea is the same.
The profichi will change color become very soft and sag.
Kinda like a female fig. You can see the difference in the fig stemsIMG_6516.JPGIMG_6515.JPGIMG_6511.JPG

This is interesting for me, all of my Caprifigs here are mature when they are very firm, once they drop, wasps will have already left, and the figs dry up. These Caprifigs are mature, and will have wasps issuing over the next few days.

It's strange isn't it, all of ours are firm, to very hard, just as the picture shows. These Profichi are ready to send interstate to a friend.

I had some Enderud profichi ripen Wednesday. They turn a light yellow green when ripe. The ones that ripened further than others were edible and sweet. I cut out the buttons that are filled with pollen and mt dog and I ate the tops
