Ellen / Figland

"Red Trunk", Sally Ann, "Ann Paige", Night Watch, Purple Capri, Long Nose Capri, Sikes Capri 1 and 2, I think I also sent you "Don Sadon North", earlier, "Don Sadon South" is an edible common fig. Maybe I should make a Master List of all of the varieties I have so people can compare to what they have, I looked back over the Figbid orders, I will write better notes there also to help keep track.  Some other possibilities include "Fig above well, Fig below well, ( need better names), "Shakti"- a rich flavored green and brown fig but its more like a dumpling lol! "Yellow Rose", "Fico Viola Argentato", "February Surprise", "Emerald Gem", that is a lot of names I know, hope you can match the names with what has rooted, maybe I will create a color code and paint on the sticks from now on, I started doing that with "Yellow Rose". Thanks for being invested in the new seedlings! :)

Hey Ellen, Good to see you here! I have a few from you that are doing quite well. This list is just a Capri find list. I will add the sikes and DonSadon North to the list. Any other Capri finds of yours I should add? Had to come back and edit. A master list would be awesome! Could you get a list together? No hurry. I am not going anywhere. :)

I think I can do that, some are not going to get pics of the fruit this year because the birds have developed a taste for the unripe fruit-they used to wait till it was kind of edible lol! I saw some fruit on the "Fig Above the Well" today, watching that to get a good picture, there was one good sized fig a few weeks ago on that one. I will go out and look carefully at the caprifigs, some I have not named. I'll try to give each a number or a name to help ID them.

Thanks for the welcome! I missed all of the drama regarding the other forum with the heat waves here, hope everyone is getting along OK, always nice to have another fun place to chat with friendly figsters! Hope the figsters in the path of Helene are getting help, I've read some crazy interviews with people there! Be careful with all of the collapsed roads and bridges and overturned trees! ( Oh and powerlines too). Wish I had a plane or helicopter, I would drop some water purifiers, medicine,  and food packages for them!
