Ordinary F. carica Caprifig have stamen plus two flower types on the same individual: gall (aka short style), and long-style with fertile ova. The first occurs in the profichi and both occur in the main crop.
F. palmata do not have "crops" in temperate climates, but instead produce syconia year-round, with no change to syconia contents.
Are the "male" F. palmata the same F. carica Caprifigs, or do they only contain stamens and gall flowers? If the latter is true, they would be solely dioecious.
