I am obsessed with big figs. I often get led astray by threads about large size fig trees when I am attracted to finding growing, and consuming fig fruits the size of baseballs. Gigantosaurus sized fruits are definitely my thing.
Haha I’ll get some pics later in the year. I may be going up there this weekend, I’ll take pics of the bare trees if I go.

Hey... that's the old school way of doing it... just stick'em in the dirt. personally I prefer rooting outdoors but I got the itch this winter and have a bunch going inside. Please keep us posted on progress all around.
I prefer rooting cuttings indoors. It allows me to binge watch Netflix with them. To promote bonding with my cuttings during the propagation process. I have also found binge watching Netflix to help promote, and develop healthy vigorous root systems.

Another update of the Celeste cuttings. The ones that didn’t have roots yesterday or the day before, I can’t remember, got thrown back into the bin and this is what I saw tonight. 😂😂 dudes doing push ups with its roots. Thought that was entertaining.

Then a cutting from the Smith tree from @Rudypayraise is showing roots and leafing out. So that’s cool too. I think they like the snake room. Always 82 degrees and dark.

Keeping them alive after this step is going to be the challenge I believe. Everything I’m doing is probably like 95% of what you’re not supposed to do. So it’s a fun little experiment. I am being much more careful with the strawberry verte and smith cuttings though. Strawberry verte still isn’t doing much. Just budding some leaves it looks like. No roots yet. I fear it running out of energy before it shoots roots. Who knows, DEFF NOT ME.
