This is a fantasric fig, caprified or not.
Smooth texture, good size and great rich berry flavor. These days many great figs are ripening and dor a fig to standout, it must be up there.

This is one I had purchased cuttings of early this year and just started recently.
I put off getting it for so long.
I do believe at least 1 of the cuttings is doing well so we'll see.

@"CA-Orchard"#11 @"ktrain"#2 those are some beautiful looking fig fruit. So deliciously juicy/jammy I definitely would like to take a bite. Congratulations on growing such xxxy looking fruit. 

I do love my Del's Ermitans. I have two first year trees. They're very interesting, and were given to me as a gift when I first joined the CRFG. One of my cuttings did absolutely nothing, but grow lignified roots for 4 months. When she got up potted to a 5 gallon she woke up, and grew. I have a handful of first year figs starting to ripen. LOL I am hopeful. To taste a few figs in my home Orchard this year.
