DaVinci Code Unknown Trial Has Begun

Today, I sent out the first four DaVinci Code fig plants to members on the forum who wanted to trial this Unknown Adriatic variety and to report on its progress over the coming seasons.   

I have two more plants to give away and am just waiting for the remaining two volunteers to provide me with their shipping addresses.

Good luck to all recipients.   I look forward to updates on growth progress and taste tests from all those who volunteered to trial this unknown Adriatic, which the mother tree was found growing on the property where Leonardo DaVinci spent his childhood years.

It's always cool to see how different a fig can look depending on where you are growing it in the country.
Looking forward to see everyone's results in the future.
 
That was one of my favorite books. I became a snob when they made a movie from it and didn't do the book justice.
