Got to try my first properly ripened Corkey's and it's actually pretty good!

Granted it most likely needed another couple of days when I noticed the syconium hadn't reached translucencyas well as detectingd a slight figgy flavor but this is truly a honey fig.

It was sweet and had a tiny bit of stickiness to it and was more creamy than juicy.

I have been invited to a fig tasting of Uncle Corky's Honey Delight Breba, this Sunday. I guess UCHD Breba Is the First fig to ripen this year. I am propagating a cutting of it myself this summer. LOL I'm way behind schedule.

Is this fig tasting being done in Santa Barbara?

If so his trees are quite mature and they should be really tasty - I can only imagine what a caprified Corkey's taste like!

Gazer said it is one of his favorites.

Darn, where did I put mine? I saw it the other night but couldn't find it after spending 15 mins looking up & down.

Sounds like you have enough to lose sight of a few trees - kinda a cool problem to have lol.
