Construction has begun

On my coon defense!

I put up the frame, this weekend I will get it covered.
Might have to buy another one of these and connect them end to end.

This one is 9x19.

I really only need to put in here what is currently ripening.
After they're done back out they go.

I don't like the cheap locking mechanism.
I feel like the coons could figure it out.

I would not trust it either. A strong wind might open that.
But so far the rest looks good.

Doing a great job. Does it need to be secured to a foundation of some sort to keep it from blowing over? You probably get some strong storms where you live.

It has holes in the feet for anchors.
I'm not worried now but when the cover is on it thats a different story.

Might could throw a chain around it and secure it that way. How thick are the metal pipes? Might be another type of latch available online.

It's all a big slope. lol
Just that small spot is flat, but might be shaded too much.
I have to time the sunrise to when it gets blocked.
