Cold figs are better than no figs

I’m still getting some nice figs. Honestly, I think the rain and bugs are bigger problems than the cold. With the drier weather and fewer bugs, some of my figs are actually holding up pretty well — despite the temperatures dropping into the 40s at night.

Yeah, the Belvedere is really something — that deep red, thick, jammy flesh is impressive. It’s a very nice Adriatic fig, both in size and taste, and not a super common variety, so it’s always exciting to see it!

Wow, those look awesome, even more so for this late in the season.

Belvedere is a gorgeous fig visually and sounds amazing!
