Hi Growers 😊

We would like to add Cherry, Plum, Apple, and Pear trees to our years.

Our preferences:
- dwarf varieties
- do not bloom too early
- self fertile
- buy from growers that are members of our forum, or nurseries in the New England area.

Any recommendations on where and what cultivars to buy would be very much appreciated.

Also, a friend of mine bought 4-in-1 fruit trees (from Home Depot), and I am wondering if these multi-grafted trees are recommended.

I would suggest you stay clear of sweet cherries, well for one they are not self pollinating but I cannot get them to bloom at the same time.
I went with a Montmorency, it's a sour cherry but no other tree needed.
And..they aren't that sour.
It's not a dwarf though...but I know they are available.
I do have 2 asian pear, they do not get that big but are not dwarf either.
Shinko & Shinseiki are my varieties.
