Calderona

Pulled her out of storage in late April 25thish. No headstart. This one takes roughly 6 months from storage. Dropped some due to my lack of water. I think if you ripen I-258 you can ripen this one.

I can ripen some here, I more BFF this year though.
I'm not really a fan of late ones and I don't really get that many, so not sure if it's even worth the trouble.
But I'll keep growing them for now and let them get some age...maybe perform better.

Mine ripened ok, tasted good but nothing super special. Which surprised me as I watched cuttings from this variety go for $56 a piece on Figbid. Sometimes I think I'm on the wrong side of this endeavor. Instead of growing trees for sale, I should just cut my trees up and sell them.  lol

@"JMF75"#5 . Beautiful looking Calderona figs Joe. I don't know how you managed to ripen so many perfectly delicious looking fig fruits. LOL but you certainly do you should make a calendar out of your summer season, it was so spectacular. Yes I have a Calderona, but it is just a first-year tree. I don't think it's going to put out any figs this year.
