The past 2 days I found and killed about 10 bugs on my zucchini/ squash plants. They look just like stink bugs except they are more of a slender body. Anyone have those in your garden?

It's a western conifer seed bug. They're a piercing-sucking bug that feeds on plant sap. I think they can do a lot of damage to gardens but others here might know better.

What about a sharpshooter? I see sharpshooters all the time on my fig trees. I was killing them at first but I stopped doing that because I don't think they are damaging anything. I don't know if there are sharpshooters that are the same color as a stink bug.

I'm not familiar with sharpshooters..... I'm off the ask the Google what they look like :)

You will know a sharpshooter when all it does is spin around the branch to the other side. It won't jump, crawl, or fly. Only go on the other side of the branch like it hiding, or playing peek a boo, or something. Lol

I don't think we have those here. They seem shifty! LoL!

Sharpshooters were talked about here on the forum. That's how I found out what they were. Someone will probably chime in that knows more than me about these bugs.
