It looks like a puffball but... they really are supposed to be more white colored. It could be a giant toad stool. I have seen some that looked almost exactly like that.
Be aware of look-alikes:
Many poisonous mushrooms, especially those in the Amanita genus, can resemble young puffballs.
Cut the mushroom in half:
To verify if it's a true puffball, cut it open. If it's white inside and lacks internal structures like gills, it's likely safe to eat.
Avoid yellowing or browning flesh:
If the flesh is yellow, brown, or has any other coloration, it's not a true puffball and should be avoided.
Check for internal structures:
If you see gills or other internal structures, it is NOT a puffball and should not be consumed.
