Berries

Anyone else grow berries? I have 3 types of Rabbit Eye blueberries. Powder Blue, Pink Lemonade, Brightwell, and these wild black berries. The only thing I know to compare these black berries to, is the wild black berries where I grew up in California, and the black berries at the grocery store. These black berries are smaller, more tart, less sweet, but very good.

I have some blueberries I started last year. Aurora and Peach Sorbet Blueberry. Last year I had a few of the Peach Sorbet and they were good. We try growing some strawberries but it's extremely hard with squirrels destroying them. I'm not a fan of the seeds in raspberries and blackberries.

I'm glad we don't have a problem with rabbits here. The only pest problem so far has been moles but most of the plants are in containers. Potatoes are in ground but they are between the house and a big concrete slab so I don't think it's likely that they will burrow into that area. I'm only growing rabbit eye blueberries so they can cross pollinate each other. I added Pink Lemonade blueberries this year. I've read that they don't produce a lot of berries but the main reason I got it, is to pollinate the Powderblue plant. I will probably add another Powderblue because it has been very productive. That is the one in the first pic. The berries in the pic are small because they are not near being ripe yet.

I keep adding berries, Blueberries got hit with the frost but still a good bit made it, Strawberries are about to ripen some.
2 kinds of black berries, raspberries, goose berries, Aronia berries.
About to plant some Muscadines...very tasty.
I was given some about two wqeeks ago that are about 10 feet long.
I have to prune and train it though.
