Bad Shipping Results - Show us your smashed Boxes!

We all take the risk of sending or receiving trees with USPS, UPS or FedEx. I thought it would be fun to post some smashed or squished boxes. First I have to say that only a small percentage of my shipments have had bad results but when it is bad, it is bad. I had one three ft box that was ripped in half along with a gorgeous tree, they refuse to deliver it, saying it was a shipping failure and undeliverable. I'm hoping to have fun with this and not having a trashing of the shipping services. So please post pics of the worst shipping boxes you've ever received.

I haven't had a bad experience this year. I've only had a couple of destroyed trees in all the smashed boxes I've received or sent and I was made made whole on those. Thankfully fig trees are resilient. This really was about just taking a look at how bad a box can look when it is delivered.

I had 1 tree in a 36in box that was smashed and broken in half. But, as far as I am concerned just 1 bad delivery was much better than expected for the season. I can't complain. It just seems like it was dropped pretty hard upside down. Usually the bamboo stakes I include keep that from happening. Knowing figs, I'm sure the tree would have done ok anyway
