Many of you reading this are likely registered members... but I couldn't help but notice that there are a whole bunch of people out there on Fig Fanatic who are visiting as guests.

That's cool. Everyone is welcome. Just that if you're not a member yet and you're reading this message, you may want to consider signing up. It's free and we there are perks. By joining as a member you'll have access to high resolution images, direct messaging with other members..... and frankly, we have a lot of fun!

There are even some pretty cool events.... like our member appreciation event being held right now by our fine moderator @ktrain HERE.

If you're just here to browse, that's totally fine... But, if you're on the fence... maybe take the plunge and join. This is a great group!

Figfanatic is definitely a great community of figsters (and other topics too!:D). You won't regret joining and belonging to a great group of people like this. You get the perks and you can be as active (or inactive) as you like. It has been great for me to get involved and get to know members better! And it's more FUN!
 
I was a visitor for a year or so. I am still new to fig growing, and really did not (still the case) have much to constructively add to the conversation. I broke down and signed up so that I could access the pictures better. I do appreciate the knowledge passed on here. For that I thank you all.

We are all still learning no matter how long we have been growing so asking the questions builds the conversation.
 
I joined on day 1 and watched it grow. May it continue long after I’m gone, like Star Trek. I watched it from when it first aired in the late 1960’s and it’s still branching off into new titles. Now Paramount Plus just started its new one entitled Star Trek - Starfleet Academy. As long as we love figs this forum will continue. 👏
 
Yeah, if anyone is hesitating to join because you’re a newbie, actually, this is exactly the group you want to join as a newbie!

I joined as a newbie and was so relieved and happy to have found super nice folks with so much experience and knowledge that were actually willing to help newbies out, and believe me, it’s much more fun to have your cuttings rooting successfully than maybe having an issue with your setup or trying to trouble shoot on your own, not having any idea what went wrong.

No one makes you feel dumb for asking what you might think is a dumb question. Every single one of us started in the exact same place, so join and feel free to ask away! 😁
