I am a fig whisperer. I love to talk and whisper to my fig trees and sometimes I see their response to what I tell them. I made a video of myself as fig whisperer. Are you a fig whisperer?

Figs like alittle abuse from time to time. Threaten them with the trash heap or a beating with a broom. The broom threat made my tree fruit last year haha.I do not know if I am a “whisperer” I feel more like I am crying to them in desperation for them to root! But I do visit frequently and have emotionalmoments with them

Totally, at least sometimes. I’ve seen these images where water crystals change depending on the music or words said. I have no idea how legit it really is, but I think language & sound has power. So I have talked to my rooting cuttings and I’ve tried to put good intention into my foliar sprays. 
I have so contemplated playing classical music on a loud speaker for them at watering times, hahaha.

Rachmaninoff 2nd Piano Concerto is perfect for this. At over 30 minutes, one can time their vegetable/cutting bottom watering to the piece.

It's difficult to explain... This is the only way maybe.... Imagine I'm the guy at the table to the left.... and then pretend the guy in the red shirt is say, a Galicia Negra tree that's not producing any figs.

I spoke to some of my fig trees that if they don't produce figs by the following year, they won't be alive at the end of the year. To my surprise they do produce figs before the end of the season. I do tell them that they are safe now.

Show them the video I posted... tell them if they don't start to put out some good figs, you're going to send them to rural Sicily... that should straighten them out!

I see why it's not working for me. It's the hands and then after getting really loud with lots of hands and the threatening newspaper you have to turn your back on them.
Ok so two things:
* I'm a singer. I have stopped singing grateful dead songs to them because someone here suggested that was just leading them to give up.... I'm now taking requests and if I don't know the words I'll make them up ... Oh cool contest - gotta remember that for when I have some of my hundred figgies to give away...
* I do a modified you are dead to me and take cuttings that are rooting and put them on the porch. I swear 1 in 5 decide to live after I give up.... 20 percent is not bad for you are dead to me.
