Are these big enough?

So the one’s that didn’t make it had nothing to do with their size. That’s good to know thank you.
Well, I think it was the combination of those area's would become a little more wet/saturated than the other area's, and the combination of them being really young figs being put in that area making them not make the winter. That's what I'm thinking.

The one's that were just as young/small but placed in better area's all lived, 4 lived and 4 died. The following season I had to dig them all up due to a water line getting replaced and I had 4 potted figs to which one I forgot outside during the winter and killed it. I still have those 3 figs but they're back in the ground--they all died to the ground this past winter but all came back and they're looking good. Two dark figs and one white.

That's why I say High and Dry, cause it works. If you listen to Lou Monti (YT) he says the same thing. I do the same thing with my tomatoes and potatoes. When I plant them on mounds they do better, plus it's easier to harvest the potatoes from those mounds.
