I received this tree to test from Robert Locke years ago, in the first three seasons I had every fig of both crops drop. This year after pollination the figs are holding. I sent out some cuttings last fall and there is some listings on figbid. I just wanted to confirm this as a Smyrna type for anyone browsing figbid and wants a verification. Once these pollinated figs ripen I will add photos. My verification was I pollinated middle of each branch. The first figs below dropped than as the newer figs above grew the pollinated ones kept swelling and after six weeks or so the top figs have started to shrivel and drop. All my mid level figs are still growing strong.
