Venturi systems are inexpensive to implement on a small, medium, or large scale. They do require at least moderate water pressure to work properly. The injectors are available in the irrigation section of my local Home Depot and online vendors such as Growers Supply.

Thank you for expanding on this. I respect your experience. I would appreciate your overview of an ideal fertigation system for an intermediate grower with say, 100 trees as a benchmark. Why we might choose one system over another and what might be a good investment.

Personally, I have had poor experiences with the quality and price of products at big box stores.... but that might be a geographical thing....

My experience with Home Depot -- both in-store and on-line, is that it depends on both "what" you are looking for and "where" you are looking.

As for other stores big box stores, I wouldn't shop for irrigation parts at Lowes.
