Air layer question

That’s great. Remember the video posted recently where this guy used an actual pot to air layer this way there’s no need to up pot? Think I’ll try that. The customer my husband has that had a brown Turkey tree 10 years that never fruited, well he was in for a haircut this morning. Told him what most people said here about possible in shady spot, he said that’s where he put it. Well I thought it would be nice to gift him an air layer of my OC Celeste. I’m going to try using this container I saved from won ton soup. I cut hole in bottom and top. This way I can see if it rooting.

Ok I just finished doing the air layer on my OC Celeste. I chose a branch that had no other side branches just like a straight up trunk. I peeled off a section between nodes, scraped the cambium then slid the container into the branch, filled it with MG seed starter mix. Put a clothes pin under the container to keep it from sliding down the branch and cover it with foil.
