A good fig day to remember

Bordissot Blanca Negra was outstanding. Smaller than usual but flavorful.
Next was Thermalito, just refreshing. I can eat 10 of them and still enjoy the last one.
CdD Rimada was good but no match to Panache by a mile
Capoll Curt Negra was good but did not standout today
Pointe Tresa proved to worth keeping (size, texture and taste). Very productive now.
Bourj Grise, a reliable heavy producer of enjoyable large figs.
Ouriola, attractive colors, productive and good taste. I have two grafts. Will keep only one.

My friend if you liked those you should try my Chicago hardy...out of this world! LOL

That's a great plate...of goodies!

Wow, looking great. I still haven’t had a fig on my PT after 3 or 4 seasons.

Like you, I’ve gotten to the point where I prefer to tear a fig open rather than cutting it with a knife. It allows me to connect with my primitive side.

This was the first year my Sal’s G blew me away. It’s probably because it’s now 5 years old. It’s one of the trees we’re digging up to take to the new house, hopefully the trees I take with me an plant back inground doesn’t get set back or die on me.
