I paid attention to a thread to take better pictures which helped. Unfortunately the time of day I took the pictures only pictures in the shade looked ok.Great quality photos to show your haul!
I'm a bad judge of taste I like them all. For breba it was quite nice considering I upped the watering time recently. They all look great Tony, what's your opinion on yellow neches?
Yeah that's what I was wondering too...might have some people kicking themselves. lolI'm a bad judge of taste I like them all. For breba it was quite nice considering I upped the watering time recently.
What can't come soon enough is the main crop. I want to see myself how close Yellow Neches is to the elusive White Baca.
I almost got a White Baca from I believe the source or the one selling in NM but it fell through unfortunately. If Yellow Neches is early enough for me a would like to get my hands on a 505H as well to test.Yeah that's what I was wondering too...might have some people kicking themselves. lol
I have been eyeing Yellow Neches for a while but haven't jumped on it, I may though.I almost got a White Baca from I believe the source or the one selling in NM but it fell through unfortunately. If Yellow Neches is early enough for me a would like to get my hands on a 505H as well to test.

That one and Iranian Candy are still possible targets, I haven't looked at 505H, but I did see it is similar to the W. Baca.
I'm thinking I need a serious reduction...like seriously serious.I'm so ticked my 505H cutting didn't make it... at least it doesn't look like it

I have too many Etnas and too many Celeste varients.
Figure if I can get rid of 12 or 15 just with these two types, I won't feel bad about adding the two above. lol
I did a major purge the last two years and it feels great. I finally came to the realization of my growing location and kept what actually works. The novelty of chasing every fig wore off, so I only look for early varieties for my home orchard. Fortunately I have a good friend and I have copies of all my figs I parted with at his house.I'm thinking I need a serious reduction...like seriously serious.
