Here’s a progress report after roughly a month of growth for some of my in-ground trees!
First, my local unknown VDB type that wasn’t doing anything as of the end of May:

End of June:

Next, my Peter’s Honey (the one with higher elevation) and Unk. Mittica (with a closer-up of Mittica):

End of June:

I am going to have SO much propagation material from Mittica that I may go guerrila planting some at various venues!

How are y’all’s trees growing this season?

Looking solid.

This recent heat wave has shown which inground trees love the heat, tolerate the heat and pout in the heat. RDB and AJH droop until evening, Etnas stand tall in the heat and Byadi powers through and keeps on growing in the heat.

Here’s a couple of overview progress photos of my fig patch.

April 30th before they leafed out and I installed the trellis system:

May 26 as they wake up and trellis system installed

Today (June 25) as they get nice and bushy

About 50 trees set figlets in the past 2 weeks (could be more but it’s been too hot to check throughly). Because I had to reset my scaffolds lower, the figlets are later than I would like. May’s cold and wet weather didn’t help, but they’re sure loving the heat now.
