Persistent caprifig or not?

Found a feral tree that had a ripe fruit. Tasted sweet but green at the same time; looked a bit weird inside. Has a pretty interior coloration. Took pictures of ripe and unripe fruit inside. Is it possible that this may be a persistent caprifig, or it’s just a bad female fig?

It is best to send cuttings out to areas without the fig wasp to trial.
Many try to bag them (caprifig and female fig) when they are to small for the wasp.
But many times the wasp finds a way in. So it is not the best test.
