Here’s some photos of the sisters fig pollinated this year and unpollinated last year. They get bigger, more red, darker skin and all around better flavor. Some cherry berry tartness besides the sweet fruity flavor that’s standard.
Seems pollination changes skin and makes it a little tougher. Sisters has very thin skin although it’s a little tougher than other figs. It wasn’t a leathery skin though just didn’t slip off when handling like some do at this stage. The skin on sisters has some fuzziness to it also. To me some have a leathery skin and this did not
