Everyone in the northeast preparing for the next round?

Old Man Winter isn’t just ready to retire yet. The weather reports for the Nor’easter show some snow in my area but not as much as the DC area and all the NJ, NY, and all the New England states. Anyway hope everyone is prepared.

The temps here have risen the past couple of days and Thursday was a full rain day so right now there’s no snow left on the ground. The sun is out today and it’s 51°and calling for a high of 57°.

Here in PA:

Sun: 5-9” snow
Mon: 7-9” more snow
On top of the snow that is still there from the snowmageddon before.

Praying I don’t lose power!

Pack up your figs and head to NC. We get pretty good 4 seasons. Just have to deal with the humidity some. As in most states just avoid the biggest cities.

I packed up and moved back to SC from PA two years ago after living in PA for 20 years ugh... SC only has 2 season hot or hotter with bugs..

. I lived in Florida for 16 years, it was the same there only the bugs were bigger.

Have you ever been to Florida? If so did you ever notice how scrawny the squirrels are and how small the deer are? The first time I saw my first deer there I mistook it for a fawn, turned out to be an adult.

I have not been to FL. But there is definitely a difference in deer size from PA to SC. SC deer are way smaller than the ones in PA.

If you move to GA, you will get fire ants, gnats, cock roaches, and more insects that you probably haven't seen before. This is why I call GA the Insect Capitol of the World.

Im originally from SC so i grew up with fireants. Still have scars in my feet from fireant bites

Yep! Got all those in Florida too.

Just walked back outside and closed up my fig hut. It’s gotten cold and very windy! Brrr. Hopefully after this cold passes I can open it back up for the last time. I’m ready to start springtime.
