Should I remove the figs from my cuttings?

Started some cuttings about a month ago. Some are already forming figs. Should I cut these off so they can focus on root growth? Also going to attach a picture of one growing some roots out of the top which I thought was neat. Thank you for any input.

Yeah… this is one of those questions where the answer isn’t the one you want to hear.

Ok… from a cutting… 100% this will slow growth. My Exquisito originally had like a dozen figs and couldn’t get it taller than a pint glass. It was crazy. If anything now, I’ll keep one or two but not if they form really early on. Especially before there are roots.

Looks like you have very humid growing conditions. Roots will form above the soil in those conditions. New growth is very yellow, it needs some light

I just check my notebook. I stuck these cuttings 1/19, so its probably a good idea to take them all off correct?

Awesome thank you. And no need to do anything to try and seal the wound? It will pretty much take care of itself? Sorry for all the questions this is my first shot trying to propagate.
I dont do anything at all after figlets have been removed.

I just started leaving them open for 2 hours today. Planning on doing that a few days then go to 3,4 and so on until I have them on a schedule. I was told it could shock them putting them straight to full light.

Start with the lights about 18 inches above the cuttings and see how they react. If doing ok let them grow a couple weeks then start moving the lights closer. But your other problem will be adjusting them to less humidity. With the top of the cuttings waxed there's no need to close up the container from the beginning

I appreciate the advice. This is my first shot at it and I was really worried about them drying out. I saw in some videos about keeping the lid on to keep humidity up. Im going to start slowly exposing them to new conditions over the next few weeks.
