Fig cuttings/airlayers

Hi I’m Analdo, just introduce myself like two days ago. Like I mentioned I’m pretty new to the fig community. Just wanted to know if anyone has any rooted cuttings or even airlayer that someone is selling? I’m interested in expanding my fig collection and learn more about different ones. I’m not to familiar with fig buying. I’ve bought some from eBay but I’ve read many post here that they aren’t reliable so I want to buy from someone reliable here on the forum and learn more about them.

I appreciate it so much. Yes I enjoy being involved with fig fanatics. I love talking to me people with the same passion as me.
But thank you so much. Like I mentioned. I don’t mind paying for the shipping. I just want to be able to expand my fig collection. I don’t have many and want to learn more about them and collect a few more. But again thank you so much for your help.
 
@AnaldoFigs it's almost air layer season let's see what comes up for me. We have some amazing air layer artists that always Boggle my mind with how many they produce in the late summer months.

LOL I really do have a (moderately big) collection please forgive me if I don't list it right now. I will try to do it in the next couple of weeks with a direct message to you. How about if you send me a direct message wish list? Sounds like BFF, Angelito, and Boysenberry Blush are not high on your list. I'm sure we'll find something for you. Steve Winter is in Alpine, TX - a couple hundred miles to your east, but still in the high desert of West Texas.
He is an expert with 20 years experience and a top seller (at one time, he's getting up there in years and has mentioned slowing down). I would read everything I could that he writes about growing fruit. It will probably literally save you years of effort.

Here's an example, a great post about greenhouse culture in your climate - especially directed at figs, although he grows stone fruit and others.

Personally, I would be very careful about buying air layers now. Here its hitting 95° almost every day and it looks like yours is even hotter.
One day to long in the mailbox and they are cooked, and you're not out of the weeds yet, you still will have to care for them and unless you are going to have misters or an air-conditioned greenhouse the stress will be too much for young plants. Also in this heat, they won't grow much anyway I would wait a few months when it gets down to highs of 85° before buying any.



We don't have any air layers to sell right now, but if you can give us a list, we can set probably some for you.
Let me suggest a few variates that would likely be good for you: Labritja, Nuestra Senyora del Carmen, Red Sicilian, Colonel Littman's Black Cross, Des Tres Esplets, Negra de Agde, Dels Ermitans, Coll de Dama Roja, Coll de Dama Mutante, Col de Dame Gris (Baud), Bourjasotte Grise, and Black Madira aka Figo Preto, BMKK, Madira Island Black, and probably Craven's Craving.
