Sure is a cold one today

The temp is falling as I post. My high today was 43° right now it's 38° and going down.

It’s now 35°. My weather app says 21°For a low tonight. This was a good choice for dinner on a cold night. Mmm! My delicious sausage and peppers in a nice crusty bread sandwich. Think I’ll give myself 5 stars for that.

I made this on Wednesday also just as delicious. A white Pasta Fagioli. Was wonderful with garlic bread and a favorite drink.

Actually... to me the sausage dish looks more Calabrese and the pasta fagioli looks classic Palermitano.

I think I know what I'm cooking tomorrow!

We also add grated cheese on top. Although my husband ate it and enjoyed it his favorite is the tomato broth because with that one I slice up a stick of pepperoni about the thickness of a quarter and drop them into the broth. Also I make the same white broth but instead of cannellini beans I use chick peas also very good. That’s my favorite.

Gonna be another cold one again tonight, it’s only 8Pm and it’s already 26°F. Don’t know about you but I’m ready for spring.
