I’m gonna try your potassium suggestion too.
Can you tell us specifically how you do this?

Nothing special. I just spread 1/2 cup of potassium 0-0-60 to a 4x8 raised bed every other week after I see flowers. I also try to keep the PH level at 5~6 range. I'm not an expert at all, so someone else may have a better way to feed strawberries. I just use all purpose fertilizer for my garden, and add additional nutritions to plants with special needs.

Hi, yes, maybe that's the best thing you can do. I grow asparagus and from the pictures, I don't think it's worth planting them.

I’m totally on board with doing it that way.
When I was younger, I used to have a whole shed of different fertilizers for different plants. Until I met a wise old farmer who said that he uses 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 for everything, and then amends for the specialty plants. Life has been much simpler since!
