These Saint Martin were excellent despite the cold weather. Ate my last Saint Martin for the year this morning. I have been a big fan of this variety for the past 2 years. The last one of the saint martin actually fell off the tree, and I found it on the ground the next day (the ones with the brighter red pulp). That sounds like a win for water resistance to me. Very happy to get figs this quality in the 3rd week of November in zone 7b (Maryland)
Now the process of cataloging all of my trees and entering everything into Google Sheets and the webiste.....Data entry is not my favorite part of fig collecting
. At least I finished up all of the permanent labeling for the year.
