Late Bday gifts

I have this friend of mine, an older gent that has a small nursery here in N. GA.
We refer to him as our Blueberry guy...because that's what he mostly has, where all mine came from.
He told me, I have a gallon of blueberries for you.
So...since my wife passes his place to and from work she stopped to pick them up.

He also gives her a big bag of figs, and a Titan Blueberry bush.
Those are the biggest BBerries I've ever seen. (not the ones he gave me)

So...I want to use the figs for jam...and I was wondering if anyone had a to die for recipe that ya might want to share?

@ktrain Excuse me I was just mentally Burying my face in a bag of blueberries. Why not use both these fruit flavors, in a delicious Jamey blend....

I am slightly addicted to Blueberry pancakes, I make them pretty much every weekend.
The rest of the house is about tired of them but not me!

So I save them for my ... other addiction.

Harvey has a video of him making jam. I have always just followed that. It's basically just 2 parts fruit, 1 part sugar (I usually use less though), and then lemon juice until you can just barely taste it (.25 - .50 cups per 5lbs fruit roughly). He estimates that each lb of fruit will make an 8oz jar. He 'cans' them in the oven at 225F, which is super easy and has worked fine for me.

I haven't tried any others but I have thoroughly enjoyed this recipe.

Cool I'll have to look that up. Thanks.

I’ve been making sourdough bagels with fresh blueberries. Chandlers are just coming on now, they are large and sweet, almost as large as Titan.
