Thanks. You are exactly right. Their phone addiction is really hurting their education.I have to second this! I know exactly what you mean by "No" being the safe answer for anything unusual. It's also a guarantee that nobody will learn anything new. Perhaps they prefer the kids just look at plants on their phones?
@ohiobruce Thank you! Any time a person learns to grow something, their lives become better. Job well done!
Lol.Don't worry @ohiobruce, this is a safe space, LOL...
That is fantastic! What a great skill to learn as well. Those tags are 3d printed and have the student's name and CH for Chicago Hardy. I taught them how to design simple objects in a CAD program and then let them create their own custom name tag. Then we printed them on my 3D printer and attached them to their tree. It was fun watching their faces as I attached the tag and told them that this was their tree. A lot of them go over to the "garden" and check on their tree when they come into my room.
Thanks for that. I hated school when I was a kid and so now I try to make my class at least a little interesting from time to time.@ohiobruce
I'm just being honest if I say that I would love to see my two young daughters have a teacher like you!
Thank you for your service Sir! Thank you for dedicating your professional life to stimulating the next
generation to be "good people" and go the extra mile (or two...)!
I've got this little button that I wear on my backpack when I go for a day-hike:
I seems like you're doing pretty well on that...Thanks for that. I hated school when I was a kid and so now I try to make my class at least a little interesting from time to time.
