Another Lowes Tree

Today, I got this Celeste at Lowes for $27+tax. It has 19 figs on it.

It's already the shape that I want it. The Lowes here has some good figs but they have only four varieties and three of them are the same or very similar. They have first year VdB, Beer's Black, and Little Miss Figgy. Then they have these second year Celeste. I got two of the Celeste, one VdB, and one Beer's Black.

And it looks like it's tagged accurately! Do you think that it's tagged correctly just by luck? Like a broken clock being right twice a day??

I stopped by the Home Depot after dinner tonight with the fam just to see if they had any fig trees. They had a few VDB for like 9$. All looked like they were just growing suckers. Thought they were probably tissue cultures and decided not to fool with them.

That was a good buy for sure, small but good figs.
I have 2 potted Celeste and 1 in ground.

1 potted one will be gifted to someone....can't ship it though it's in a 20ga pot. lol

This is my 3rd Celeste also. I didn't have any need for this one and I wasn't really looking for another Celeste but the price was right and the thing that made my decision to get it was that it is in the exact shape that I wanted.
