Maybe 80% of the potted trees are ready. I think the rest of the potted trees will be ready by the weekend.... But the un ground I can't do anything yet. A little snow and just blow freezing probably won't bring the soil temps down enough. I don't think I've ever had this happen before. Usually it gets gold before it gets all sloppy like this. At least the temps wont go low enough to do any damage.

And just a few weeks ago I was still in shorts. Dio mio!
 
I was in my shorts outside today doing some grafting and rooting cuttings - just a few Angelitos and Green Goblins amongst them! That’s the advantage of living in zone 10a… our temp today reached 78F
I’ve been dreaming of enjoying a ripe Angelito maybe just maybe next year is the year. Staggering them, so you’ll have some fruit to enjoy until late fall and winter, sounds like a great idea!

I'd love to be a bit warmer than any of that all the time. If it's really dry, give me 95F+ any time. My body was engineered for the Mediterranean. I've never acclimated to the whole "freezing my butt off" thing.

If I never felt a temp below 50F again, that would be just fine with me 😐

You and me both. Though I enjoy our summers a lot more than I did Dallas summers when I lived there.
