A great tool for making fast, efficient air layers. The jaws have three sections: blunt at the base to grip the bark, a sharp curved section to cut the bark, and straight sharp ends for any ordinary pruning work. The handles are very short, which makes it easy to maneuver the tool among branches.

Now that is very cool! Yeah I’d be interested in one as well.
They are made by a small company in central Thailand, and are quite cheap. Might be difficult to get them sent to the US though.

This is the closest I could find. Several like it on Amazon. I don't think it would work as well as the one shown.
